In the event of dangerous weather, the race director may cancel or amend the race for everyone’s safety. No refunds will be given. If weather conditions are unstable on race day, please check this website’s Home Page for last minute updates.

7:30 - Packet Pick-up & Late Registration - look for signs
8:00 - Music and Warm Up Festivities
8:50 - Announcements & National Anthem - be ready at starting line
9:00 - 5K Race Start! - School Parking Lot
9:30 - Children’s Activities Open
10:00 - Children's Fun Run Mini Dash - kids 6 and under
10:15 - Awards & Prizes
Children's Activities remain open until 11 a.m.
Parking is on location – follow the parking signs.
Race Number: Pin it on the front of your shirts ~ we will provide pins with the race bib.
Chip: You will be timed electronically by computer timing chip. Your chip will need to be attached to your shoe; You must cross both the start and finish lines to receive your official time in Race Results.
Water will be available at the start/finish area and halfway point.
No Clothing Check so please leave all valuables at home or locked in the trunk or back of your vehicle.
Course Safety is important. Although the course is monitored by the Lee’s Summit Police and our volunteers, please be careful, follow instructions and watch out for others.
NO HEADSETS or similar devices, skates, bicycles, wagons or dogs. Strollers and baby joggers must start at the back of the RUNNERS START or the back of the WALKERS START.
Must be present to win prizes and awards. Some random drawing prizes will be given in addition to age group finisher awards.
Awards Ceremony starts at approximately 10:15 a.m. Awards are for:

- 20-24

Top male and female overall
6 and under (will be part of the fun run and will get a prize when they finish so no medal category)

Course Map: The 3.1 Mile Eagle Egg 5K Run Course will take you south on Jefferson Road then right on Stuart Road and then back. There will be a water station at the half way turn.
